Agile Waterfalls

The waterfall is a software development methodology. It is a very structured and rigid methodology. Agile is a collection of many different projects. It is a flexible method and allows changes to be made in the project development requirements even after the initial planning phase. I will be discussing some of the most important differences between Agile and Waterfall Model. The agile method separates the project development phase and its life cycle into many stages, whereas Waterfall is a software development process that is divided into proper distinct phases. Agile is a flexible method, whereas Waterfall is structured and rigid most of the time. Agile can be measured as a group of different projects and the waterfall is completed as a single project. Agile follows an incremental approach and waterfall is a sequential design process. The plan in agile is reviewed after every step, whereas the plant is not reviewed during the test phase in Waterfall. Agile is flexible so, changes can be made in project development but there is no scope of change in Waterfall once the project development starts. The team members in Agile cannot be changed, they work faster, and they do not require project managers as the entire team manages the project. the waterfall method requires a project manager in every single stage of the process. Therefore, Agile prepares to work with dedicated teams who are coordinated and work hand in hand, and waterfall has less coordinated team members. Project description details can be reformed anytime during the process, but it is difficult to make any changes in the waterfall process. The agile method works very well with time and materials or funding which is not fixed as they consider fixed funding as stressful. The Waterfall performs risk assessment at the beginning and has fixed funding to reduce risk later in the project. Agile changes products as per the customer's demands and Waterfall focuses only on completing the
project.
